Hey! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done a plan with me, hasn’t it? If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen me post a few layouts recently, but I kind of stopped blogging about it. Oops.
To refresh your memories (or let you know for the first time), I have a Happy Planner. Now, I also have a Franklin Covey pocket-size ring planner that I take with me. The Happy Planner is just too big to fit in my bag. So, I’m one of those multi-planner people now, somehow.
Anyway, let’s get this show on the road!
Before I start, I want to preface this: I don’t currently have Photoshop on my laptop, so all of the pictures here were edited (and by edited, I mean watermarked) using an app on my phone. I hate how it looks and that’s why there’s only a few pictures. Next week I should have Photoshop again for properly edited pictures.
I started by removing the pages as usual, because as anyone will tell you: It’s much easier to decorate removed pages.
Right now, I’m trying to use up left overs and partials from old kits I’ve used in the past. Most of them, including what I used this week, are from DEK Designs, which are huge kits. So, since I’m only working with partials and left overs, my layout this week is pretty bare, but I still like how it came out.
The weekend banner in the photo above is from one of the MAMBI sticker books I have. Once I finish with the kits, I need to start burning through those. Depending on how I’m feeling, I may pull pages out of them to put into happy mail at some later date. I almost never use the MAMBI stickers.
I also “decorated” my Franklin Covey pocket planner:
In this case, “decorating” means adding a few little washi accents to the side and bottom. I’ll probably add a few more stickers throughout the week as I fill it in–this is definitely my plan as I go planner; I never put a full week in here at once. Plus, school starts today, so I don’t know what assignments I’m going to have to put in here (nor do I know if I even want/have room to put my school assignments in this).
I’m not sure how I feel about this planner. It’s very, very small. The pages are 6″ x 3.5″ which is great for fitting in my bag, but a little tough to fit what I actually need on it. Mostly, I just write my daily to do lists in this one, so I can pull it out on the go.
I’m still figuring it all out.
I love you all.
