Week 2 of unemployment. I think I’m adjusting well. Sleeping until noon is nice. Filling out job applications is not. But paying my bills is also nice, so I deal with the not in hopes I can get back to the nice.
Planner stuff! Whoo!
If you haven’t noticed, I try to stick with the color scheme of the planner itself and build my layouts around that. It’s not always easy, especially when I don’t want to buy new kits or sticker books right now (because of that whole unemployed thing).
Thankfully, this month hasn’t been one of those months! Next month will be one of those months, but I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.
All those beautiful green and grey stickers are from PinkOwlPlannerStudio on Etsy, but it looks like the Etsy shop is closed now. You can still shop from their website, though.
Ok, so. I’ve been attributing that checklist stamp to Atelier Dreams on Etsy, but I can’t actually find it in their shop, and when I checked my purchases it doesn’t show up. So, I didn’t even get it on Etsy. Which means I probably got it at Michaels, but I can’t remember the brand or find it on their site!
It’s like a stamp kit just appeared in my drawer one day by complete magic. That camera icon stamp is part of the same kit as the mysterious checklist.
I’ve been slowly reincorporating washi tape back into my planner designs. I kind of stopped for a while because things were getting too cluttered. I was trying to do too much at once and I didn’t like it. Now, I’m adding things slowly and trying to keep things simple. Back to basics, if I may.
The pink heart washi tape is from Michaels (Recollections brand, I believe).
The text stickers–“get to work,” “seize the day,” “remember,” and “you’ve got this”–are all from that big MAMBI sticker book that I’ve been working through. I love the clear backed stickers! I love them! I love being able to layer them over colorful background. I want an entire book that is just inspirational words and phrases on a clear background in black and white. They look so nice!
I can’t believe April is almost over. That’s such a bummer! Am I the only one who feels like this year is flying by? Or is time dragging for you? Let me know in the comments.
I love you all.
